In 1970 I moved to Playa del Rey, right next to LAX. I have since moved, but the airport had nothing to do with my decision to do so.
To those against jets using the Santa Monica airport, and those who just want it closed, I say this: If you bought, built or rented within a mile of the airport before it was built, I fully support your position. If not, hey! You moved next to an airport — what did you expect?
