Safety on sidewalks! Please!
I must absolutely agree with Mr. Thomas M. Sipos ("Never on the sidewalk," Letter to the Editor, Jan. 2).
The tired argument about bicycles on the sidewalk is not "tired." It is a dead horse. Stop beating it. Bicycles do not belong on the sidewalk. Period!
Pedestrians should not have to dodge bicycles bearing down on them. This is an accident waiting to happen. Something needs to be done about this situation.
