Yet another Starbucks is coming in Santa Monica, the 22nd. Back in 1998, there was an episode of “The Simpsons.” Bart was in a mall. He walked past a Starbucks, then a “soon to be a Starbucks.” He then went into a store, and while deciding on his purchase, the guy told him to hurry up, as they were turning the place into a Starbucks. When he leaves, it is a Starbucks, as is every other store in the mall.

Is this what we are coming to?
