The other problem facing Americans, besides guns, is the year-end fiscal crisis being perpetuated by Tea Party Republican politicians who have said they gleefully look forward to the prospect of the U.S. economy tumbling over the cliff.

Tea Party reactionaries have hijacked, taken control of and are dictating policy for the Republican Party, making compromise all but impossible.

The truth — "you can't negotiate with terrorists" — holds true here. Tea Party political pawns are economic terrorists who have chosen to leap off the cliff of insanity into the swamp of absurdity.
