Your article on development here in Santa Monica has a comment by developers worried about stifling growth in this community ("Council moves to reform development process," Jan. 10, 2013, page 1).

I feel that indeed we need to stifle growth. We have grown into an increasingly unlivable city. We need to stop unlimited growth that profits developers. When is enough, enough?
