I recently defended the firemen's salaries, now I say on behalf of the police I come in contact with, they are kind, friendly, and put their lives in jeopardy each time they get called ("28 cops took home more than $200K," Nov. 26).
Just yesterday I was having lunch and two female officers had just ordered, and were called out for service, and they had to run. … What is it with all the complainers who only find fault with the system? Let's move on to finding the champions of our community and give them praise.
