Editor:
For persons unfamiliar with fencing as a safety measure, I suggest that they ride along 1st and 3rd streets on the Metro Gold Line Eastside Extension route to get the idea of what the Santa Monica City Council has in mind.
More importantly, I also would like to mention the existence of embedded pavement flashing lights situated at several heavily-trafficked intersections along that route! I definitely recommend that the City Council should also take that into serious consideration as well!
