I think it's OK that the Daily Press printed the Family Research Council's column ("Argument against gay marriage is phony as a $3 bill," Your Column Here, Aug. 7). I would assume that most of SMDP's demographic disagrees with Family Research, but gay marriage is an important social issue right now, and it can be helpful to be exposed to the different sides of an issue regardless of your beliefs.
