I convinced a friend of mine to go with me to downtown L.A. last week on what I affectionately call “The Trolley.” It was a wonderful experience; however, my friend, who happens to be hearing impaired, wants to know why there is no visual notification of next stop. Deaf people would be completely out of the loop and lost if they travelled alone.

Other transportation systems also have inside wall pockets with train information for passengers. It would be nice to have a time schedule in hand that shows where and when.
