Editor:
Only our silly Santa Monica City Council and city manager would deem it good and acceptable that a $32 million fire station should actually end up costing $81 million ("Fire station bond could cost taxpayers $81M," Dec. 19).
Unfortunately, this is not the first, and it won't be the last, harebrained scheme they will foist upon the backs of us hard-working taxpayers.
