Why can’t the Santa Monica Main Library be opened for we library lovers? The inside is very spacious. It is easy to socially distance. The tables and chairs could be removed and stored. We book lovers could go in, have the enjoyment of browsing the new fiction and nonfiction again. Or, if we want a book in the stacks we could just go get it. There are usually few people in the stacks. The checkout is automated. Please open our library.
