On November 28, at 11 a.m.

Downtown Service Officers responded to a call of a male subject yelling, screaming and kicking signs along the promenade in the 1200 block of 3rd St. The subject then picked up a light fixture with large glass light bulbs and slammed them together causing them to break. Officers arrived and met with the DTSM representative who made a private person’s arrest of the subject. The suspect remained uncooperative with police officers during the investigation. Christopher William Riley, 39, from Gardena, was arrested for vandalism and resisting arrest. Bail was set at $20,000.
