Eight employees from Adlink, a TV advertising company in Los Angeles, came to St. Joseph Center’s Infant Toddler Development Center and Bread & Roses Café last month to build a learning loft for the children and to serve meals to homeless individuals and families in Venice.

“We are so grateful to the Adlink employees who have been volunteering at the center for various programs for the past four years,” said Maria Alderete, St. Joseph Center’s coordinator of volunteer services. “Their enthusiasm and willingness to be of service is an inspiration.”

St. Joseph Center has 11 programs on eight sites in Venice, Santa Monica and West Los Angeles, providing emergency services, case management, child care, job training, and senior services to homeless and low-income individuals in order to break the chain of poverty, so that they can achieve self-sufficiency.
