The Santa Monica Teen Film Festival is now accepting submissions for its fifth annual festival on June 19 and 20. It is open to all filmmakers ages 12 to 18 and will accept any film in any genre from 30 seconds to 30 minutes in length.

The Santa Monica Teen Film Festival is now accepting submissions for its fifth annual festival on June 19 and 20. It is open to all filmmakers ages 12 to 18 and will accept any film in any genre from 30 seconds to 30 minutes in length.

Submission deadline is Friday, May 21 at 5 p.m. City Hall will accept out-of-state and even foreign entries. All youth are encouraged to submit. Filmmakers do not need to be present at the festival to win awards and prizes.

The festival is sponsored by the city of Santa Monica, including the Cultural Affairs Division, the Santa Monica Public Library Teen Program, the Virginia Avenue Park Teen Center and City TV.

Submission is free. Admission is free.
