This weekend, the Malibu Film Festival will screen more than 30 films at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica in the sections of short live-action films, animated short films, short subject documentary films, feature-length documentary films, and narrative feature films.

The festival will feature five world premieres, nine West Coast premieres, three Los Angeles premieres and four Academy Award-nominated shorts. Awards night will take place at Wolfgang Puck’s Granita Restaurant in Malibu and recognize the winning films and filmmakers of this year’s festival and honor Pierce Brosnan with an Award for Achievement in the Arts.
