On February 20, at about 4:42 p.m.
While patrolling the 2500 block of Main Street officers saw a subject walking along the sidewalk pushing a shopping cart, in violation of the Business & Professions Code, with a bicycle inside of it. Officers stopped the subject for the violation. The subject stated he found the bicycle a few days prior at 4th Street and Santa Monica Blvd. The subject was found to have four outstanding warrants for his arrest. Antony Allan Bergmann, 55, from Venice, was arrested for appropriation of lost property and warrants. Bail was set at $126,500.
