Man damages liquor store equipment in fit of rage (crime watch)

On April 30, at approximately 11:45 p.m., an officer driving through the area around the 1900 block of Main Street was flagged down by an employee of Star Liquor regarding vandalism.

According to the employee, the subject, later identified as Otto Marion, 46, homeless, tried to return an opened pack of cigarettes and became upset when he was denied the return.Marion began to pull the hand-held ATM pin pad until the cord was torn.

When the officer asked if Marion was still at the location, it was confirmed by the employee that he was.

Marion was arrested for vandalism. Bail was set at $500.
