On July 4 at approximately 7:35 p.m., Santa Monica police officers responded to a radio call of a domestic disturbance on 19th Street.
When officers arrived, they separated aman and woman and spoke to them individually.
The man and woman were in a dating relationship and have a child in common. However, when the male decided to see his other two children, the female became upset and started yelling at him.
The male victim sat down and called his mom. While he was speaking to her on speakerphone, the female suspect kicked the phone out of his hand and kicked the victim's neck.
She was arrested for felony domestic violence.Ariana Sima Rouhi, 29, of Santa Monica, had bail set at $50,000.
