*Ventures to New Seas*

Congratulations to the St. Monica Catholic High School class of 2008! Their graduation on the campus of Loyola Marymount on May 29th celebrated the years of hard work on the part of these students as well as their teachers and family members who have given them much support. Two of the speakers at the commencement were valedictorian Jennifer Bane and salutatorian Derek Brandt. Both spoke to their appreciation for the manner in which SMCHS and those dearest to them prepared them for their futures. Jennifer has enrolled at the honors program at UCLA, Derek will be enrolling at UCSB in the Fall.

Continued success, Mariners!
