Four Santa Monica College students and a math professor will be recognized for their achievements in education by Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS), the academic honor society and service organization of California Community Colleges.

Four Santa Monica College students and a math professor will be recognized for their achievements in education by Alpha Gamma Sigma (AGS), the academic honor society and service organization of California Community Colleges.

Students Eitan Almagor, Angelica Chavez, Sing Yuen Chan and Luis Gomez were awarded scholarships, while professor Betty Wong, an AGS advisor, received the “Outstanding Advisor Award” for six years of service to the AGS chapter at SMC.
