Dear Editor:

What a great loss for the City Council of Santa Monica. His voice and the way he has treated people is phenomenal.

Listening to their concern and always doing something about their issues, has made our city a human place to live, a space for ideas and interchange, a place that grows and respects each other, and an involved community.

So sorry for his retirement.

We are the losers.
