The Santa Monica Fire Department could get a second patient care tracking and reporting system.

The council will be asked to authorize the second installation of the FireMed Pro software at Fire Station 1 for $2,500\. The first software was installed in 2007.

“Six months after the system was implemented, staff determined that the installation of one FireMed Pro worksta-tion at Fire Station 1 was insufficient for the large number of users,” the staff report stated.
