# Update: Missing woman has been located

Santa Monica Police Department officials are asking the public to help locate a missing woman who was last seen exiting her apartment at 6:28 a.m. on Monday, March 15.

Sherelle Hatcher, a 37-year-old who weighs 140 pounds and stands 5'2 tall, was last seen by apartment staff exiting her apartment near the 1700 block of Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica.

As a native of Baltimore, authorities said, she was in California for work.

When she departed from her residence, Hatcher was seen wearing a blue head scarf, black reading glasses, a grey tank top with the word “Peace” written on the front, red shorts, and grey shoes, according to a news release from SMPD.

Anybody with any information that could lead to the whereabouts of Hatcher is asked to contact Det. Tavera at 310-458-2256, Sergeant Williams at 310-458-8475, or the Watch Commander (24 hours) at 310-458-2249.
