*By Susan Fraser*

I have read all your articles about the Redding/Merman murders. Ms. Redding was found \[on a\] Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Mr. Merman was found \[the following\] Wednesday, March 19, and his mother said she tried to reach him by phone for a few days. If it was three or four days, these murders could have and likely did occur on the same day.

The Santa Monica Police Dept. has said they do not believe these murders were committed by the same person. How do they know that? It is just as likely, and if it is the same day, even more likely that Ms. Redding and Mr. Merman were murdered by the same person.

A murderer who has a car. A murderer who could be a serial killer. And if that is the case, Santa Monicans should be extremely careful now.
