Presenter: Walter Lamb, Ballona Wetlands Land Trust

The presentation will cover a brief history of the Ballona Wetlands and the current status of restoration planning with a focus on the management of invasive plant species and the promotion of native plants in the ecological reserve. The final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is currently anticipated for publication in the first half of 2019, and the presentation will discuss comments to the draft EIR by various agencies and entities, especially as they relate to native plants.
