Parking Structure 6 is going down slightly sooner than expected. The structure, located at 1431 Second St., is closing on Monday, Feb. 13 for construction. All cars must exit the structure by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12.

The previous closing date was Wednesday, Feb. 15.

The new structure should offer environmental improvements, and is set to provide over 700 spaces, including rack space for up to 90 bicycles and 19 motorcycles.

All other Downtown parking structures will remain open, including the Civic Center facilities on Olympic Drive and Fourth Street.

Construction on Parking Structure 6 is expected to be completed in late 2013\. For more information, visit www.smconstructs.org.
