On September 17, at 10:45 p.m.

An intoxicated male went into the Chevron Gas Station at 432 Wilshire and took several food items and then walked out of the store without paying for them. Officers were called to the area and found the suspect with the items taken from the store. The suspect was taken into custody without incident for public intoxication. Joseph Anthony Cappa, 31, homeless, was arrested for public intoxication and shoplifting. Bail was set at $5,000.
