Parents have filed initial paperwork to recall four members of the SMMUSD school board citing a variety of complaints related to accusations of corruption or incompetence among the elected officials.
According to a press release sent out on March 31, 30 residents of the district are targeting Laurie Lieberman, Maria Leon-Vasquez, Jon Kean and Richard Tahvildaran-Jesswein. Board members Craig Foster, Jen Smith and Keith Coleman are not part of the effort.
