Park Raises Nearly $650,000 for Re-Election Campaign

Published:

Los Angeles City Councilwoman Traci Park has raised more than $646,000 from 1,227 individual donors for her re-election campaign through the June 30 reporting deadline, her campaign announced.

The fundraising total reflects widespread support for Park's work addressing crime and homelessness on the Westside during her tenure representing Council District 11.

Park paused campaign activities during the first four months of 2025 to focus on community recovery following the devastating Palisades Fire. As residents faced evacuation and property loss, Park resigned as chair of the city's 2028 Olympics Committee to create and lead the City's Ad Hoc Committee for LA Recovery.

"After the fire, I knew my only focus had to be supporting our community," Park said. "I stood with the community during its darkest days, and I'll continue fighting to rebuild the Palisades as the Palisades."

The contributions came from CD11 residents and businesses across the district, demonstrating what her campaign called broad local support for her leadership approach.

Park said she will continue working for families in the district until recovery work is completed following the fire damage.

"I will keep showing up for families in CD11 every day until the work is done," she said. "That's my commitment, and I feel deeply honored that so many people believe in me and continue to give so generously to support our future."

The fundraising puts Park's campaign in position for the June 2, 2026, primary election, which is scheduled in just over nine months.

Park's campaign characterized the donor base as representing a broad coalition across the political spectrum who support her efforts to create what they described as a safer, stronger and more unified Westside.

The councilwoman's focus on post-fire recovery has been central to her recent work, with the campaign noting her decision to prioritize constituent services over campaign activities during the critical recovery period.
