At approximately 1:37 a.m. Officers responded to a Battery call on the 1900 block of Ocean Front Walk. The distraught Victim ran over to Officers with his hands on his face thanking them for their arrival. The Victim relayed that two individuals had physically attacked him on the bike path and ultimately pepper sprayed him, causing him to run away and hide. Police began a search for the suspects based on the Victim’s description. Daniel Alexander Vasquez was subsequently arrested for 211 P.C. "Robbery", 242 P.C. "Battery", 11364 (a)(1) H&S "Poss. Drug Paraphernalia. The second Suspect was cited out and released to his mother due to his status as a juvenile.
