To help slow the spread of COVID-19, the Pico Branch Library, 2201 Pico Blvd., will temporarily suspend in-person branch service and resume curbside pickup beginning Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
The Main Library will continue to provide the Santa Monica community with in-person library services. Patrons can also access curbside service at the Montana Avenue Branch and contactless self-service at the Ocean Park Branch.
The Santa Monica Public Library will continue to follow all state and local COVID-19 health guidelines. There may be impacts to library operations and services due to the Omicron variant surge and staff capacity. Any future impacts will continue to be communicated to Library patrons and the Santa Monica community.

For Curbside Pickup, place a hold to pick up items at the Pico Branch or the Montana Avenue Branch. Wait to receive notification that your hold items are ready, then drop in to pick up your material. Upon arrival, follow the directions on the posted signs. When picking up items, please bring your Library card or photo ID, wear a mask, and practice social distancing.
