The pandemic has put a strain on everyone, including our local governments. Now more than ever, our communities need more funding and that’s why I’m supporting Proposition 19.
Prop 19 will generate hundreds of millions of dollars for our schools and local governments. This is new revenue that will stay right here in our community.
This funding will be critical to help support small businesses that have been hurt by the pandemic and to pay for other local services like healthcare, homelessness and housing assistance. Prop 19 is what we need right now while we’re trying to recover. I hope Prop 19 passes in November because it will benefit all Californians.
