Team PHenomenal Hope will host its second annual "Where is EB?" 5K Walk and Fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 7, at the Annenberg Community Beach House.

The event kicks off pulmonary hypertension advocate Eric Borstein's 200-mile awareness walk from Los Angeles to San Diego to raise funds and awareness for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and Pulmonary Hypertension research and patient support.

Borstein, diagnosed with PAH in 2020 after collapsing from heart failure, has become a powerful voice for the PH community. The walk brings together friends, families and supporters of those affected by pulmonary hypertension.

"'Where Is EB?' represents the strength, resilience, and unrelenting spirit of those living with PH, which embodies what we strive for at Team PH," said Dr. Harrison Farber, Chief Medical Officer of PHenomenal Hope.

The event schedule at 415 Pacific Coast Highway includes check-in from 8 to 9 a.m., opening program and walk start at 9 a.m., closing ceremonies at 11:30 a.m., and the start of Borstein's 200-mile walk at noon.

The main parking lot at 445 Pacific Coast Highway fills quickly. Additional parking is available at Lot 8 North (810 Pacific Coast Highway), Lot 9 North (530 Pacific Coast Highway) and Will Rogers State Beach. The Marvin Braude bike trail connects all parking to the beach house.

Team PHenomenal Hope, founded in 2012, is a 501(c)(3) organization that improves quality of life for people affected by pulmonary hypertension by providing hope, ending isolation and funding research.
