In the 2100 block of the beach path, the victim (84 years) and his wife were walking when a male subject punched the victim in the chest. The suspect then continued walking. The suspect was located in 2000 block of the beach. The victim stated he often sees the suspect during his morning walks however has not had any encounters with him prior to this. Samuel James Abel, 26, homeless, was arrested for elder abuse. Bail was set at $50,000.
