# Residents can air grievances about airport

Anyone with complaints about Santa Monica Airport can soon air their grievances and ask questions of government officials.

A City Council candidate forum will be held on Sept. 13 to address the environmental, noise, health, safety and other quality-of-life issues related to the community around the airport. Each candidate will make a statement before answering questions from an invited panel of media guests. The public also will have the opportunity during the session to ask questions directly of their prospective representatives. Journalist Bill Rosendahl will be the moderator.

Organized by the Concerned Residents Against Airport Pollution (CRAAP), the forum has invited all local Santa Monica and Los Angeles area candidates for the State Assembly, State Senate and the United States Congress.
