On Sept. 25, at approximately 530 a.m.
Officers responded to a call near the 900 block of 18th Street for a report of a male in his 20’s attempting to enter multiple unoccupied and occupied apartments. The suspect, Brian Taylor, was seen on surveillance footage fleeing after being confronted by residents of one of the targeted units. He was apprehended in the area by SMPD officers, positively identified by the victims and booked for 459 PC, Burglary. He is currently being held on $100,000 bail with an upcoming court date in October.
