The top hat, those sunglasses... it has to be Leon Russell. The gravely-voiced crooner with the bad boy attitude will be making a visit to the Malibu Inn next week.

He’ll be sure to draw from his deep repertoire of classic southern-tinged ditties during his visit to the West Coast.

Dubbed “The Master of Space and Time,” Russell began to make a name for himself by playing as a session musician in Phil Spector’s studio group. He’s played back up with everybody from The Rolling Stones to Herb Alpert.

Russell will be appearing at the Malibu Inn on Wednesday, Jan. 30\. The show is 21 and over and tickets range from $20 to $25\. For more information, call (310) 456-6060\. The Malibu Inn is located at 22969 Pacific Coast Hwy.
