SAMOHI — For the second straight year, the Santa Monica High School baseball team is planning a celebrity poker tournament and silent auction.
The event, scheduled for Nov. 9 at 6 p.m., will include a number of celebrities including former MLB all-star Jose Canseco. The fundraiser will be held at South on Wilshire Boulevard.
The entrance fee is $50 and includes food and silent auction. The poker buy-in is $100 with no entrance fee if you purchase in advance.
All proceeds will go to support the baseball program.
