INGLEWOOD — Santa Monica High School's football team improved its Ocean League record to 1-2 with a 27-0 shutout of Morningside on Friday at Coleman Stadium.
Samohi is now 4-4 overall. Morningside falls to 1-7 overall and 0-3 in Ocean League play.
Next for Samohi is a league matchup with Culver City (5-3, 2-1) at Santa Monica College's Corsair Field on Friday. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
