SAMOHI — The Vikings’ strong start to the season has been rewarded with a spot in the Western Division top 10, the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section announced Monday.
Santa Monica High School is the No. 9 team in the poll. The ranking follows a huge 42-6 win over Leuzinger last Friday.
The Vikings will play at Palisades on Thursday.
Ocean League rival Culver City is ranked fifth in the poll.
