Santa Monica High School’s Mark Vondervite congratulates Jordan Bishop after scoring the game-winning goal against Peninsula with two minutes left in the game at Samohi on Wednesday afternoon. Samohi won the CIF-SS waterpolo playoff game, 9-8. Next for Samohi will be a second-round playoff game against Damien today on campus. The game will begin at 3 p.m.
