The Santa Monica College Music Department will present “Local Heroes,” a performance by the SMC Jazz Band. The concert will be held Monday, May 20, at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Hall at the SMC Performing Arts Center, 1310 11th Street (at Santa Monica Boulevard), Santa Monica.
Under the baton of Frederick Keith Fiddmont, the band will present a program that features the music of John Clayton, Roger Neumann, Bill Cunliffe, Jeff Clayton, and other local jazz heroes.
