The Santa Monica College Theatre Arts Department will perform "iFrankenstein: A reanimation story" Oct. 3-12 in the Theatre Arts Main Stage on the SMC Main Campus, 1900 Pico Blvd.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 and Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 4 and Oct. 11. Matinees are at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5 and Oct. 12. All performances are subject to change or cancellation without notice.

Adapted from and inspired by the life and works of Mary Shelley by Terrin Adair, "iFrankenstein" is described as a haunting reminder of the devastating consequences implicated in the reanimation of life and the subsequent responsibilities humanity owes to their own creations.

The play blurs the line between memory and madness as Shelley is consumed by the ghosts of her tragic past, and the monstrous legacy of "Frankenstein" will not stay buried.

The SMC production is directed by Terrin Adair.

Advance tickets range from $25 to $30 ($18 for SMC students and staff) plus a service charge and can be purchased online at smc.edu/tickets. Tickets purchased on performance weekends at the Events Box Office at the Theatre Arts building are $3 higher.

Parking is free. Information on parking, transportation and directions can be found at smc.edu/transportation.
