The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office has identified Chasen Alibrando, 25 of Santa Monica, as the victim who fell to his death in Isla Vista on April 29.
Firefighters responded to calls for a man at the bottom of a cliff at about midnight and found Alibrando’s body. First aid efforts were unsuccessful and he was declared dead at the scene.
Raquel Zick, the Sheriff’s Office’s public information officer, said the death appeared accidental, however final determination is pending toxicology.
