Santa Monica police arrest DUI, theft suspects (crime watch)

On May 8 at about 8:55 p.m., Santa Monica police officers were on patrol when they saw a car enterthe 1550 Beach Lot without itsheadlights on and fail to stop at the posted stop sign. They conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and, through their investigation, found the driver to be under the influence of marijuana and driving without a license. Fabiola Salazar-Reyes, 18, of Los Angeles, had bail set at $5,000.

On May 8 at about 11:50 p.m., officers were called to Famima located on the Promenade for a male subject causing a disturbance. When the officers arrived, the store clerk told them the suspect walked in and starting taking food from the coolers. He then walked out of the store without paying. He continued to do the same thing three more times. The suspect was placed under private person's arrest for petty theft. David Zeh, 50, of Los Angeles, had bail set at $1,000.
