**Unemployment Benefits, Disability & Sick Leave**

If you or a loved one has been seriously affected by the COVID-19 crisis, including job loss or illness, California and federal law provide for important benefits to help you and your family. Learn about unemployment insurance, including new legislation passed in response to the COVID-19 crisis, as well as disability insurance, disability leave and sick leave under both new and established law.

**Applying for Health Insurance**

Linda Lopez, Health Insurance Program Manager at Venice Family Clinic, explains the process of applying for health coverage (Covered CA, Medi-Cal). Enrollment is open now for those who have recently lost health coverage due to COVID-19.

While many are losing jobs due to COVID-19, other employers are hiring! Nancy Martinez of Chrysalis provides resume resources, job searching tips, and an overview of their comprehensive virtual job placement services.
