The school board meeting scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 20, has been changed to Aug. 19 because of an inability to reach a quorum. At least half of the board members need to be present for a meeting to take place.
The public portion of the meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the board room at the district office, 1651 16th St. in Santa Monica.
A copy of the agenda for the Aug. 19 board meeting will be on the district Web site (www.smmusd.org) by Aug.14.
