On January 30 at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers responded to the Vons Supermarket, 1311 Wilshire Boulevard, regarding a subject being detained by loss prevention security for shoplifting. Officers accepted the private persons arrest for shoplifting $146.56 worth of property. Gregory Erik Audette 51, homeless, was arrested for shoplifting. Bail was set at $5,000.
