SAMOHI — Santa Monica High School choral director Jeffe Huls was awarded an Arts Specialist Award at the 30th annual Music Center BRAVO Awards. The ceremony, which took place at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, was held on March 1.
The Music Center BRAVO Awards recognize teachers and schools for innovation and exceptional visual and performing arts education. Along with the award, winners receive a cash prize dedicated to supplementing their education programs. Information regarding the cash prize was not made available by presstime.
The Music Center is a Los Angeles-based company that advocates the arts. Walt Disney Concert Hall is one of the Music Center’s venues.
