Sleepover leads to burglary arrest

On September 17 officers were dispatched the rear of the Pavillons Motel (2229 5th) regarding some type of unknown trouble.

They made contact with the victim who told them that she was staying at the motel because she had a fight with her roommates. She then invited a male to spend the night with her.

In the morning the victim observed the male taking money from her wallet. A struggle ensued over the money and the male suspect fled. The suspect was detained in the alley and Anthony Trahan, 24, from Los Angeles was subsequently arrested for robbery. Bail was set at $50,000.

Crime Watch is culled from reports provided by the Santa Monica Police Department. These are arrests only. All parties are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
